Wildwood Family Farm was founded in 2002 by Justin and Kelly Heyboer.
Our dream was to find an old house full of character, land where our children
could run, and barns to fill with animals. Our house now holds a family
of five, the land is used for planting flowers and vegetables, and the
barns not only hold many animals, but serve as great places where people
meet for parties and other gatherings.
Recently, we decided to follow in the footsteps of Justin’s grandparents
and grow fresh, all natural, chemical free produce for all to enjoy. We
also raise and sell farm fresh, all natural meat and eggs. Many flower
gardens (annual and perennial) have been established with new gardens
being planted every year. The original barn has been completely refurbished
to host weddings and parties and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen is expected
to be complete by fall of 2009.
In addition, we have recently expanded the Wildwood Family. Aaron and
Karen Snell share our passion for living and teaching a sustainable lifestyle.
Together, we have decided to offer a limited number of memberships to
a crop-share program, to sell our produce to local restaurants, and to
offer a variety of activities at the farm.
We look forward to seeing you on the farm soon!
